Radio WAS presents a diverse mix of styles within the progressive rock genre. Artists from the classic period such as King Crimson, Genesis, P.F.M., Gentle Giant, Camel, Eloy, Yes, and Happy The Man share the airwaves with those of today — Big Big Train, Hiromi, Anglagard, The Flower Kings, Anima Mundi, Il Tempio delle Clessidre, Thieves' Kitchen, Spock's Beard, Bent Knee, Barock Project, and many other artists found throughout the world.
The emphasis is on progressive rock of global proportions, old and new. But jazz, folk, world, blues, classic rock deep cuts, and the kitchen sink also get thrown into the music mix.
